Departing from Jug Creek Marina, we'll cruise the waters of Pine Island Sound searching for dolphins before our visit and lunch at Cabbage Key. One hundred acres of lush tropical vegetation filled with exotic trees, plants, and flowers surround this historic restaurant (Jimmy Buffet’s Cheeseburger in Paradise). Walk the nature trail, marked with the names of the flora and fauna, then have lunch (not hosted) on the patio with a gorgeous water view. After lunch check out the endangered gopher tortoises then climb the water tower to get the best view of Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound.
